Another of my special field recordings from the recent WE ARE FOUNDING A CITY Festival @ ZUKUNFTSHOF Vienna curated by the lovely Hans Jürgen Hauptmann of the VESCH verein and internationally renouned Pianist, Artist and Virtuoso MARINO FORMENTI.
On the edge of Viennas 10th district in a space surrounded by fields, snails, vineyards, gardens and good vibrations
I was invited to DJ at a (what I call) alternative multimedia project which turned out to be a mini three day festival.
Live music of various genres in the garden, diverse performances, Huge hangers featuring sound and art installations from superb paintings rich in colour and meaning to a flapping piece of latex manipulated by moving rods and a concert room where one could stretch out on cushions and matresses, specialist snail fare, a John Cage workshop, surreal surroundings, sexy italians and fine wine were only a few of the many delights.
