Boogie Sáv / Boogie Channel @ Tilos Rádió -90.3fm hosted by dj. D-Joint The Boogie Sáv: (~ translated as Boogie Channel) is a 1 hour hip hop radio show at Budapest's most distinguished underground radio station. The Boogie Channel... an introduction The Boogie Channel established by dj D-Joint in the year 2000, the bi-weekly radio show aims to represent hip hop while blending in a wider more colorful spectrum that ranges from musical genres: ie. oldies, jazz, hip hop, remix party breaks, reggae, dub, dance hall, trip hop, acid jazz & turntablism which add a cutting edge style to the core hip hop structure. Bp Boogie, an affiliate of the Boogie Channel was founded by djz D-Joint and Alvin, which specializes specialize in event coordination and management. The BP Boogie djz: Alvin & D-Joint also hosted a series of parties, performances by inviting guest djz & live acts frot their early days of djing in the 1990s. The last milestone production was Hip Hop Connections which offered live acts with emcees, followed up by BPB Resident djz, emcees, and guest djz. Boogie Channel Timeline 2000-2005: Hip Hop guest djz, rappers, events, & the classic D-Joint Sets! Our BP Boogie VIP Turntablist Guests: DJs Break-O, Q-Cee, Dugo, Quick, Bootsie, Majestic to name a few from Budapest. 2006 djz aMGee and Broken Finguz together with AZA mc from the Scarcity label joined the show seasoning the mix with progressive beats and experimental soundz, while simultaneously representing underground Hungarian hip hop. D-Joint's freind and collaborator aMGee who also does press reporting for the Hungarian online hip hop portal: www.hiphop.hu represents local artists and supports hip hop culture world-wide in all shapes and forms! 2007 was an excellent year in budapest inspired by concerts from Dialated Peoples, a showcase by DJ Revolution, and rare perofmance of the legenendary DJ Q-bert was the peak of Budapest's cutting edge turntablist music scene! 2008 D-Joint was featured on an album for his patented dj cutz. It was also trying year due to D-Joint's health issues incurred while at an international IT company, since then D-Joint has been re-establishing himself 'against all odds' making a bold comeback! 2009 A 'journey into sound' by giving tribute to eclectic styles, different musical genres such as Bollywood funk, oldies, bootleg fused into a solid classic Hip Hop style. 2009 TurntableTube is launched by DJ D-Joint (dj.DiJoint's Channel) with on the air coverage & 'behind the scenes' footage from The BP Boogie Studio! 2009 DJ D-Joint was featured oldest Hungarian Hip Hop acts 3rd album: 'Rap Disco' http://www.animalcannibals.hu/ 2010-2011: Tilos RadioGuest Spots & "3Strikes" collaboration. Home Studio Tilos Radio Netcasts were set up, that have opened up the D-Joint crates of rare hip hop vinly only heard on the Boogie Channel. 2012: Rocked 2013: All new musical projects lined up...stay tuned! The Boogie Channel (Boogie Sáv) has had a history of talents involved who always thru down mad skillz. Among guests included are emcees who tear up the mic with freestyle ryhmes and beatboxing. Turntablism is also well represented and the show has been many a times frequented by Hungarian DMC Champions. Shouts out to all the peoples and our audience who made it and still make it happen.
