soul school is the school where the professor does the homework. so just listen to the music, and let the Professor teach you the history of what used to be called "race music" in the US. with roots in black gospel (religious) music and inspiration from the black freedom movement, and developed when the american music scene was segregated by race, soul music addresses human rights issues, inequality, and politics. in soul school we also take it to the present day, and talk about contemporary racism, anti roma politics, sexism, world events, etc.
